I was having a cup of coffee yesterday and reading the morning newspapers (S.F. Chronicle and East Bay Times) when I flipped open the front page of the S.F. Chronicle and discovered on Page 6 an article entitled “Fired FBI Chief Comey will not be prosecuted.”
The article, written by an Associated Press reporter named Eric Tucker, noted that the DOJ had declined to prosecute Mr. Comey over his handling of a series of memos he wrote concerning his meetings and interactions with Fat Nixon in early 2017.
Won’t even be charged?! The horror.
And here WeR and Q were assuring us that Lyin’ James Coney was gonna feel the full weight of the criminal justice system.
Instead, I read that the FBI has issued a memo identifying conspiracy monger Qanon as a “domestic terror threat.”
Bwahahahaha!
It almost made me overlook another news article on Page 7 of the Chronicle (this one written by Associated Press reporter Alan Fram) entitled “Eight GOP House lawmakers won’t seek re-election.”
What a distressing news day. I promptly cracked open a bottle of champagne and made myself a mimosa.
