I can't wait for the season to start.

I've been spending some time thinking about which matches I can't wait to see.

There will be dozens over the dual & tourney season, but three stick out to me:

Suriano vs Gilman

Nickal vs Sammy Brooks

Joseph vs IMar.

Also, I'm really curious how a healthy Neville will fare against Kyle Snyder.

And Gulibon against practically anyone in the Top 20 - want to see how he has progressed.

Feel free to add more .... is it Nov 11 yet ??

Suriano-Schram will be an awesome benchmark match. Nolf-Kemerer. Shakur-BoJo. Cortez against any of the top guys at 133. Lots to look forward to

16 days from now, Nov 20th, I hope we get a Bo N versus Cutch final at 184. That way, we can throw out all of the insider data and have a true representation of whom our starter should be. Take the decision out of the coaches hands and let it be settled on the mat for all of us to decide. ;)

Seriously, can't wait for the season to start, and root the guys on. What a luxury it is to probably have 2 of the top 8 guys at 184 on the team. After St. Louis, if all happens as planned, it will be 6 of the last 7 and momentum actually building as Cael builds an even deeper team than the prior years (I can see 9 or even 10 AAs shortly with many high placers), which even minimizes the risk of finishing below #1 at Nationals. No more of this 5 or 6 AAs a year.

Of course not. We went through this last year. Best for the team when the practice room hero loses real matches. HALL
So you're actively rooting against a Penn State wrestler when he steps on the mat. How nice.

Would you say this to his face, to his parents' faces, to Cael's face, or using your real name?

Did Jim Wilson go up in weight? And when did Geno take the job from Shakur? Also, I'm pretty sure PSU cruised to a team title last year.

Wilson is expected to go 174 and Subjeck at 165.

Word is Morelli won yesterday's wrestle-off, but no word that he actually won the job.

I believe Wilson is at 174 now.

I know that PSU can win a title with Morelli in the lineup, but I WANT TO GIVE MY HOT TAEKS DAMMIT!

Then the goalpost gets moved again and criticism will fall on the NLWC ... and then more top guys go through the system and win medals for the NLWC ... and then the denial phase is over.

That response is due to a funny post from a buckeye fan on Flo board re: Berge - that he should have picked tOSU if he cared about freestyle.

Cael has only been here for 7 years and the progress is amazing. Can't wait for the next 7.

Which was it who is still bitter over Frank going to the Olympics -- Pucillo or Magrum?

Schram will be an interesting early test for Suriano. Unless he has made some changes in his style over last year, you'll see that he wrestles a bit like Perry did. He holds back a lot when he's on his feet to the point where I think he's risking a call for stalling. At the Stanford dual last year, it looked to me like Nico was a little frustrated with him. He started a little bit of in your face pushing right at the end of the match, and that's not normal for Nico.
