From a factual standpoint, this is so much worse than what happened at Penn State. Too bad MSU doesn't have an iconic coach who could be scapegoated for this. It might then get the attention that it actually deserves.

It will be interesting to see who the mob goes after in all of this. There are plenty of targets and people who had they realized, could have made an impact to stop this guy. With Sandusky only PSU was taken to task - everyone else walks away unscathed.

What is the Bald Eagle HS reference? Our good friend Bernie McCue was a teacher at BEA. For some reason he quit working there and became a substitute teacher working at schools around Centre County. I wonder why? If only an investigative reporter had tried to answer these questions....

What I found to be astounding reading that article was that none of the MSU employees that heard the allegations reported them up a chain of command. Not one. And you have to figure that a lot of these employees knew of multiple complaints. I can’t imagine they didn’t talk to one another. Hell, Nassar was know as “crotch Doc” to some of the student athletes.

Nassar and Jerry were skilled groomers, and fooled a LOT of people along their destructive paths. It’s very easy for us to point the finger and say, “______ should’ve known!” or “____ knew!” Sound familiar?
