This will be the first real team the pitters have played all year. I'm expecting that MSU will win by a lopsided score of something like 48 - 14. If both Pickett and Ken Walker played then the score would be something like 62 - 28 in favor of MSU. We will see what happens in a few hours.

If the pitters can make a game of it then it indicates that maybe they really have a decent team and aren't a fraud with a good record resulting from playing 13 cupcakes.

Pitt would’ve scored about 35 to 40 points in this game with Pickett. Just look at how bad MSU was late in the season when Walker faded. Oh well, Tucker will just bring in another batch of free agents. Let’s not forget that he basically did nothing with Colorado’s program.

I agree. And is ESPN getting paid a commission for every person they show in the stands? It's non-stop people in the stands. The game is an afterthought. In the late 3rd, Addision had a great run on a reverse and I thought, damn, I want to see that again, and instead all I got was a graphic of Pickett and the USC QB transfer coming into Pitt next year. IOW, instead of a replay of an amazing play, I got a story about two guys that aren't playing in the game I'm watching.

The real question is why go for two.

To make it a three point game at that time? I mean, what good does a 4 point game do for you at that time. Unless you think you are likely to get two FGs (or a safety and FG or other uncommon outcome), doing a 2 pt conversion then determines whether you need a TD or FG later.

The ACC sucks. Pitt would be Indiana in the Big 10. Maryland probably would have won the ACC this year. Great season by Pickett, but Pitt will go back to reality next season. Kedon Slovis is not mobile and their oline sucks
