So i know many of the folks here can't hold 2 contrary thoughts in their head so for the record.

. I voted for Trump twice but i think it would be awful for him to run again. He won't clean up the deep state and really only cares about himself IMO.

At the same time

. I also think the elections were rigged [legally and illegally]
. I think Trump could have acted better [more quickly] on Jan 6th but most of what went on he had little to do with. Lot's of shady activity [Pelosi with Cap police] Ray Epps, video from inside capitol showing the screwball with horns being escorted peacefully around the building by police, shooting an unarmed women and being praised for it, etc etc.
. I also think from what i have heard most these charges are BS

So now that i have pissed off both sides this is what i would love to see.

Jan 6th and Ga indictments
. Many of the charges stem from the idea that Trump KNEW he lost and still conspired to prevent the election from being certified. How anyone in their right mind thinks Trump accepts that he lost is laughable to me. However

I think his defense should do the following
. re open the discussion in EVERY state where alleged interference took place. My recollection is many of these cases where "he lost" were simply dismissed. Can't do that now. Rehash every case in great detail. REMEMBER you don't need to prove anything. all you need to is demonstrate it is reasonable that Trump suspected shenanigans and hadn't accepted that he lost

. then replay as we have seen on hear all the Bush vs Gore "stolen talk" the HRC stolen, Trump is illegitimate talk, all the Stacey Abrams election stolen talk, to demonstrate this happens all the time. I even heard Dershowitz last night who lefties now hate say he still thinks Gore had the 2000 election stolen from him.

. Then call up every Jan 6th committee member and ask them why the evidence from 2 years of hearings wasn't saved? Further ask them what after 2 years did they recommend. Ask them all the questions an unbiased committee might have asked.

The goal isn't to prove anything. the objective is to create a reasonable level of doubt about the activities of J6th and the election in general.

This would be red meat to the Trump base. He doesn't need to campaign. I heard Newt G say last night. He isn't a politician running for office he is the leader of a movement. let him sit in a courtroom and let his lawyers systematically say over 2-3 months time what his supporters and he have been saying for 3 years. state by state charge by charge. Fanni Willis just took 2.5 years to drop this indictment. Give Trump 2 months to call up every witness and grill them. He would be at 80% with R's by the time he was done.

Let me say again i can no longer support Trump but wrong is wrong and if these behaviors go unchallenged it won't stop.
If Trump wants to clean up the deep state use 6 months of trials be an opportunity to put the Deep State on trial.

Our democracy really needs that right now.
