Does your dog visit areas where there is feces on the ground from other dogs (and/or his own)? I suspect that is your problem.

I recently heard that rubbing diarrhea on your foot is good for plantar fasciitis. Try it for a week.

Very sorry about your pup...sounds like they will put him on Flagyl and probiotics, and continue on the rice...
As to your pl. fasciitis...that injection if...IF,IF,IF given properly and SLOWLY, MIXED WITH LOCAL ANESTHETIC...SHOULD NOT...REPEAT...SHOULD NOT BE PAINFUL AT ALL!!! We use a pneumatic anesthetic injector BEFORE any needle gets near the patient, and no one EVER feels the needle...no bullsh*t at all...NO ONE EVER FEELS THE NEEDLE ENTER THE SKIN, FOLLOWED BY EVER SO SLOWLY GIVING THE INJECTION OF THE FLUID(IT'S THE SPEED OF INJECTING THE FLUID THAT CAUSES GROWN MEN TO SCREAM...I'VE SEEN IT FROM THE YOUNG DOCS IN THE GROUP I'M IN WITH DO IT, AND THEY NEVER LEARN TO GIVE A PROPER INJECTION!!!).
If you're ever in SW Fl., it would be my privilege to treat you, in spite of your very, very bad experience.
Our now 8 month old KerryBlue Terrier had repeated bouts of liquid stool and obvious cramps, and he, too, had coccidia, and was treated with 2weeks of Flagyl, etc. as above...finally now with good, solid, normal stools...and a much happier disposition(though he is always a happy slob!).

Not sure. It definitely awakens the olfactory, so if you are having trouble detecting odors, rub it on your upper lip.

Best treatment, for plantar fascia problems, is you have to stretch out the fascia. It hurts, but with daily usage the problem with dissipate. Yamuna foot saver is the best product for this treatment. Put them on the bathroom floor, and use them daily when at the sink. It will wake you up quicker than a 16 oz. expresso.
