Relax libs....I'm happy to report THE SUN CAME UP over DC again today.......and it may get into the 60s later.........
What will today bring? Will the Republicans finally believe the Dems and realize they control everything and just hold a Senate vote and pass the CR? That was a call to change the Senate rules so that 60 votes weren't required, wasn't it? Since I can't detect dog whistles, I need some lib help here.
Also, as Chris Cuomo so brilliantly pointed out, not all of the Republicans would vote for the CR in the Senate. I don't know why he felt he had to repeat that Dem talking point since even if they had the Dems would still block it, but there must be a relevant point in there somewhere.....
How about those Dems offering to fund the military? Maybe the Republicans are too busy BEGGING for an end of THEIR shutdown on lib network talk shows to have noticed? And, golly, I'm sure there are no strings attached to the Dem offer....but, interestingly, they apparently are still OK with denying needy CHILDREN health care...hmmmmm
In the meantime, life goes on. Could it be we don't need Washington controlling our every move to productively function as American citizens?
