National Memorial Day Concert on PBS

Will be replayed this evening @ 9:30 to 11:00 PM EDT. My wife and I watch it every year. Last night was one of the best ever. I think it would be worth your time to watch the replay. There were some incredible, heart wrenching stories told during the program.
My wife, daughter and I were sobbing.

Only saw bits and pieces, but did watch Blair Underwood's recalling of the Vietnam Dustoff Otis Evans. Exceptional all the way around.

My uncle Tony, a teenager, was at Normandy disarming underwater bombs so landing craft could put troops on the beach. He lived thru hell and had many medals. He never spoke about the war. My cousins found his medals after he died. He had 10 kids and lived a full life, a very lucky man.
So many of those men never spoke of what they experienced. Humility. This was their duty and they did it willingly.
