I have been looking around trying to find photos from the 2017 NCAA finals matches. I have had no problem finding photos of Vincenzo vs Martinez but have had no luck finding pictures from Retherford, Nolf, Hall and Nickal's finals victories. If anyone has any could you post them. Thanks

Tony Rotundo probably has the most complete set of photos, link here. He's really good and got the iconic IMar Cenzo shots including the crowd.

I also took photos, my selects are here. Wasn't able to get matside for the finals unfortunately but the few I included from the skybox aren't bad, considering.

Tikk10,

Incredible job!!!! What lens and camera body do you shoot with?

Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!

I shot these with my Fuji X-T1 and a few different lenses, the real long shots with a 100-400mm zoom, which I rented, and a f1.4 56mm fixed lens when I was matside. The Fuji body is physically smaller than Canon and Nikon so the Fuji lens measurements would be 150-600mm and 84mm, respectively, on a Canon or Nikon.

Fuji's outfit wasn't really built for sports so I was at a little disadvantage from the mostly Canon photographers I was shooting alongside. If it was my day job I'd get a Nikon or Canon, which both sell an array of zoom lenses that open wider (you realistically need at least f2.8) than Fuji's zoom I rented, which was f4.5-5.6.

The advantage of Fuji over Nikon and Canon is the glass--Fuji lenses are practically Leica quality.

It's always (or almost always ;)) a delight to meet people from this forum, and the FOS forum, in person. Tikk is getting kudos here for his photography skills, and I'd like to provide a shout-out for other reasons. In NYC last year, he was the perfect host for a portion of our stay, along with his significant other (whose fanship he is working on!!).

This year in St. Louis, he was again part of our group that hung out between sessions, and we particularly had fun (there's that word again) at McGurk's. Among many others I've met here, tikk is a true-blue fan of PSU Wrestling...and now a good friend. He's one that, if given the chance, I suggest meeting...I'm glad I have.

Mutual admiration society member here, thanks Roar. A big part of the draw of the NCAAs for me is knowing you're going to hang out with real good people.
