Olguin beating Valencia at PAC 12s probably cost Creighton his spot.Fish, Formato, Meyer and Valencia at 165.
Disagree. No qualifier equals hole. Zero points. That's a holeAll that being said..sucks for Creighton, obviously he had an opportunity to get an auto qualifier, but all in all, I thought he had a solid year and certainly wasn't a "hole" in our lineup. Good luck moving forward
There’s definitely an a-hole around here, but it’s not Creighton Edsell.Disagree. No qualifier equals hole. Zero points. That's a hole
Guys got a point.Disagree. No qualifier equals hole. Zero points. That's a hole
He probably wasn’t even in the discussion. No Wittlake either, wow.

56% win%, low RPI, and no great wins. Lost his last 5, starting with 3-2 losses to O'Toole and Marinelli. Had a chance at the B12 Championships but lost twice (0-2). 45-5 his last two seasons, then 9-7 this year. Something isn't right imo.He probably wasn’t even in the discussion.
Tore his ACL against Zach Hartman. He was looking pretty solid this year otherwise (loss to Austin Yant was weird where he couldn't get out from bottom)56% win%, low RPI, and no great wins. You're forgetting all the needle holes from cortisone shots.Iowa has no holes.

Mere flesh wounds. LolYou're forgetting all the needle holes from cortisone shots.
MFF LolHypothetical question here. What happens if another teams 165 lber gets hurt in practice and can't make it in 2 weeks. Do they pick up next wrestler out? Or is a bye given?
The NCAA Wrestling Committee will select two alternates per weight, one alternate per weight class will be invited to the championships. If any wrestler withdraws or does not make weight, the alternate will be inserted into the bracket. If wrestler being replaced is seeded 1 – 16, all seeds will move up one spot and the alternate becomes the 16 seed. If the wrestler being replaced is seeded below 16, the alternate will replace the wrestler in the same place on the bracket, there will not be a redraw of seeds 1-16. Teams should notify the NCAA as soon as they know a wrestler will not be able to compete. The replacement deadline is the time of weigh-ins on the first day of competition.Hypothetical question here. Thanks. When do they select the alternates? Yeah saw that, bummer. I think 1-2 was the magic number unless of course you’re Creighton Edsell.Unrelated to us but Verk went 0-2 at conferences and didn't get a wildcard.
It is nice to have a rules expert around that isn't an argumentative jackass.Madden…. you have all this shit researched and spread out in front of you dontcha?
Just sits there waiting for someone to ask…
With Madden and Mcpat giving us the rules and a lot of the neat stats, those two can make even a novice fan like me look like an expert. Lol. I shared a lot of the stuff they fed me to my older brother who is a fan but not on this board. He was like, “how the hell do you know all this shit? Lol. I told him….It is nice to have a rules expert around that isn't an argumentative jackass.
I agree. @jmadden1998 isn’t argumentative at all…It is nice to have a rules expert around that isn't an argumentative jackass.
LOL! Just quick with the copy/paste.Madden…. you have all this shit researched and spread out in front of you dontcha?

He may be argumentative at times, but I'll stop short of him being a jackass. Especially compared to our other "rules expert".I agree. @jmadden1998 isn’t argumentative at all…
Not even Tom or Terry?Iowa has no holes.
