What did you think? I'll readily admit that I'm not in the demographic that would appreciate Kendrick Lamar the most (a little too old), but the fans at least seemed to like it. They also showed the Black Panther trailer, for which Mr. Lamar apparently sang/rapped the theme song. Not sure if I'll be waiting in any long lines to see Black Panther. No offense intended.

Here's an article from The Ringer about the whole production.

I'm not a huge rap fan, but there are some rappers that I don't mind listening to - Snoop/Dre, Public Enemy....
I know that Lamar is supposed to be well thought of by the rap community, but I just don't get it. His voice tone is grating and I can't find a hook anywhere in his songs - and I actually have listened to more than just last night.

He’s been accused of lip syncing last night....not that there’s anything wrong with that!

"I" is very catchy, but most of the song was sampled with the Isley Brothers.

Humble is decent...they played that one in Beaver Stadium this season

Im with you on the lack of appreciation for any rap "artist". I am, on the other hand, looking forward to the Black Panther movie.

Yep, looking forward to Black Panther. REALLY looking for to Infinity Wars, which looks amazing, and Black Panther will no doubt have info that will be helpful to the Infinity Wars plot.

Yep. Not only info but apparently a lot of characters. From the trailer, looks like all of Wakonda (SP?) gets in on the action.
