netflix drops "Full Swing" tomorrow

Oh no. I am saying you should stop lying. You put up a cite tha t was not a cite. Misleading at best. I will treat what you said about follwing another golfer as a lie. The truthful answer to my question was " no."
If Obliviax ever stopped lying, he'd never be able to post again. It's what he does ... it's who he is. Every post by him contains some deliberate falsehood or some factual mistake. More often than not, there are multiple mistakes/lies ... and he has a tendency to take some fact or story he read about, and then turn it into some faked up story wherein he knows someone involved. And then he adds on a overwhelming tendency to not admit his mistakes/lies. It's clinical. Then you combine that with his conspiracy-leaning mind ...

Huh, so your understanding of that article is that he was right behind the other golfer? Bumper to bumper, or a few car lengths? The video from the story is not a model of clarity.

From the article:

Scheffler was not aware there had been a pedestrian death, and several PGA-marked vehicles like Scheffler’s were able to enter the course without a problem, O’Connell said. But a passenger bus attempting to enter was halted and told to turn around. Gillis was on the scene stopping vehicles so the bus would have room to pivot, and Scheffler’s car was among the first to reach the point where Gillis was stopping traffic, O’Connell said.

The poster you are harassing said that he was following the cars in front of him. That appears to be the case. The point is, you spent 10 times as long continuing asking for a "cite" when you very easily could have looked it up yourself.

I"ll decide how to use my time. He made the claim, I asked for a cite, he gave me a non-cite. YOUR cite makes it even murkier, since THERE WAS A NEW PROBLEM that none of the earlier pass-thru golfers had faced-- a bus that needed to turn around, causing a need to stop Scheffler, WHICH SCHEFFLER IGNORED.

When you drive into a sea of emergency vehicles, extra caution and attentiveness is required. He fell short. The cop might've overreacted, too. That does not make Scheffler a victim.

It appears that you are just looking for an argument. No thanks. Have a nice evening.

Back the Blue - except when we want to not Back the Blue
Or when the police officer lies about being hit by a vehicle when video from the scene shows that he wasn't. Or, when someone being totally cooperative and not threatening anyone is initially charged with a felony.

Scheffler didn't ignore, he didn't see or hear the officer. that was the ruling of the prosecutor. Everything else is just opinion. And this isn't the first time that there was a traffic jam going to a major sporting event. PSU, for example, has a special lane cordoned off for official vehicles and public transportation. That is why I now use the Gameday Shuttle.

I see this with police officers all the time. I love them, but their job is to be unemotional and try to quell the situation rather than inflame it. And color me skeptical when it was disclosed that the officer "forgot" to turn on his body cam. I see this all the time when the video doesn't match the officer's emotional statement given after the event.

Another similar case was when Tyreek HIll was arrested after he was caught doing 60 MPH on an access road (35 or 25 MPH limit?). He put down his window to address the officer and got belligerent when the officer told him to keep his window down. This is SOP for the officer's safety so the driver doesn't pull a weapon. The officer ended up dragging Hill out of the car for not following directions and cuffing him. He was later released and fined for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. My point here is that it was pretty clear that both parties escalated the situation when it is possible a calming voice with explanations could have made a big difference. It should also be noted that HIll has a criminal record. (domestic assault in OK St).

Or when Breonna Taylor gets murdered

Treat police misconduct the same - no matter the race, creed or color of the victimized individual.

Exactly. Regardless, each incident stands on its own. There should be a review. A big problem, and lots of people don't understand this, is that law enforcement is a local issue. So how enforcement is handled in San Francisco is different from how they are handled in Johnstown PA. There is little to no continuity. So these national events, comparing A to B, are problematic.

Obvious point that has nothing to do with this golf thread which clearly demonstrates that the golfer did nothing seriously wrong and that there was substantial police misconduct.

lol. Where did race come into play? WOW!
Because it's the stupid sh&t these people do every time. They have nothing else.

Yeah, following your normal routine like you always do at a golf course is now white privilege.
