All in due course the Olympics will be a thing of the past. Corruption and greed at the highest levels is largely ignored by the press in supposedly democratic countries. Cities, States, and countries already go out of their way to sidestep the site bidding process. Nobody wants to host these shams. More and more viewers are turning away. Individual sports will always have some organization to sponsor competition, but, the era of grand glitz is OVER!
I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of curling. I was pissed when yesterday was the first time there was zero coverage. I predict, soon every highschool will have a team. Equally impressive is the atheletes conditioning. Truly a world class event. I have started practicing in my kitchen. 2026 baby!
Any sport with "judging" and "interpretation" is ripe for corruption. Even wrestling, as we see often, can be rigged by crooked official.

That's fair but millions of people are going to disagree with you. It's easy to follow and watch, try to explain exposure to a lay person.
