I have no love for this 21st century way of NFL football. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the old fashioned way of building with the best talent available instead of counting beans. Signing a player one year and releasing him the next makes no sense. The older I have gotten, the more I lose interest in NFL football. They are in trouble and don't see to care.On NFL.com, it was a salary dump by the Texans. The Browns have 120 Mil in cap space , can burn up 16 million on Osweiler . The kicker is the Browns plan to release him. Bottom line, the Browns are paying 16 mil for a 2nd round draft choice
Obviously a salary dump. Speculation that Browns trying to trade him for a 4th rounder (and will eat half his cost) so they can package a bunch of picks for Jimmy G from NE.On NFL.com, it was a salary dump by the Texans. I still think both Bortles and BOB would have been better off had the Texans taken him in 2014.
Bortles sucks, I don't get the love he gets on this board.
