I just found out that LaxPower is sadly, no longer. After 20 years it’s gone. Free news, free data, great statistical power rankings for all levels of play. great message boards....gone!
I heard that ESPN bought the site 2 years ago and overhauls the site trying to make it a pay/subscription service site.

That sucks.

So where does everyone go to get the lax dirt?

It is a bummer I coach a high school team and I still used it all the time! Your best bet is to checkout maxpreps, alot of the big philly teams have twitters where the scores are updated usually during the games .... IE Avon Grove and Conestoga. Sad to see them go though I used to sink a few hours a week on there when I was a kid looking at scores and big upcoming games

This site does a pretty good job for Eastern PA lax, some coverage of outlying areas and the college scene. Laxpower went dark in August.

I know. I used to geek out the data and rankings all the time. My daughter’s HS team finished in their national top 5 twice and top 15 twice.

That's Awesome! good for her, Pennsylvania has some big time programs and top level players come out every year, I love the sport. This is a good website for PA lacrosse https://phillylacrosse.com/. They do weekly rankings and announce college decisions as well, this should take care of your PA Lax fix, following other leagues will be a bit tougher than before though

It really is a shame. The site was awesome, and I use to help them out in my area.

That said, it really went downhill after the changes were made (I assume by ESPN).

What?!! I was on that site daily when my kid was playing high school lacrosse. Just a great site. It was influentlal, too. They had a rule that any win by more than 10 goals counted as a win by 10 goals, regardless. That had an effect in actual games between mismatched teams. You would frequently see coaches run it up by 10 goals and then call off the dogs immediately.

MaxPreps' coverage of lacrosse sucks ballz. I'm guessing that a new site will replace LaxPower. Sure hope so.
