What was your role? Did you race? Do you have fun automobiles? The rick me needs to know more:D

Worked as a pit crew member traveling all over as well as a family member going to see your family members race in the top tiers of motor sports. Meet so many amazing people from all backgrounds and careers who were just fans or getting into car racing. I grew up in a really cool time for motor racing and the older I get the more I realize that and appreciate it.

I thought about you bwifan. It's a pretty cool doc. I can't wait to get back to Europe. I would love to visit Spa or LeMans or the Nurgburgring.

Spa and Le Mans are my favorite 2 tracks overseas... Although I prefer the "old" Le Mans where the Mulsanne straightaway was over 3 miles long... watching cars rip through there at night in Porsche 962s at 230-240 mph was something to behold and realized you needed brass one's the size of bowling balls to do that... eau rouge at Spa is breath taking to see up close and watch cars take it full blast and see who has the brass one's not to lift off the gas... Here is a good video of what 240+mph at Le Mans looks like for the drivers. Camera mounted over my family members teammate Derek Bell both driving for the Porsche factory. 2nd lap where Derek and Jacky Ickx follow each other... great stuff the sound and the sense of speed. We used to sit at the cafe's along the Mulsanne Straight and watch them rip by 10 Meters away at 240 mph... amazing how close we were to the track

What’s the coolest car you’ve looped the ring in?

I miss the local dirt tracks. Lincoln, Williams Grove, BAPS, Clyde Martin, Port Royal. This is why...

I am one of the biggest fans of auto racing. I know a lot of racing teams and I love watching racing. The most I love to follow gulf racing, as in my opinion they are really good at racing. I want to become the most famous driver ever and I have this dream due to them. I am sure this is gonna be hard for me, but I am sure it is worth it. What about you, do you want to become famous drivers, maybe we could build a team, maybe here, on this forum, we can start something special, something unique.

Here is a great video on the car my family member drove to victory at Le Mans for the Porsche factory. Gives great insight to the beginning of ground effects. Porsche not F1 in the World Endurance Cup developed down force a.k.a. ground effects. His name is still on the door of the car still that Chris Harris takes for a run on Porsche's test track at Weissach. This car would hit 245 mph on the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans.

In the mid-eighties, my family would go camping for the weekend up at Watkins Glen to watch the IMSA Camel GT races. Your family member's Lowenbrau Special 962 was my favorite. My father would buy pit passes so I could see and take pictures of the cars up close. Might even have some pictures with you in them.

Surprised that it hasn't been mentioned yet...but "LeMans" with Steve McQueen. At least once a year I will watch the movie. I almost think the star of the movie are the sounds that the Porsche 917 made. That flat 12 near the red line on the Mulsanne Straight and then downshifting for the turn at the end of the straight makes a wonderful sound.

The Glen is still 1 of my favorite tracks (the long course a.k.a. the boot)... Special place with so much history and beautiful countryside and great fans that love to camp out.

‘Rush’ is a good movie for auto racing fans. Hunt vs Lauda. Some Hollywood liberties take , but not any more than Ford v Ferrari which had plenty.

IMSA is such a wide open series. When it’s paired with an Indy race you basically have complete access to everything with basic tickets. You call all but stick your head under the hood and help them turn a wrench. You can also catch the drivers around as well. Helio was racing LBC last year and saw him being interviewed. So much shorter than one would think!
