Listening this evening on my way to a retirement dinner (ironically for one of my staff members who is a PSU alumni).
The hosts were discussing the evolving situation with the Chicago Blackhawks. The comparison was made to Penn State. One host said: “Penn State assistant walked into a locker room shower and saw JS having sex with a 10 year old. This coach reported it the next day to Paterno refused to get involved “so he could stay in power.”
Setting aside the ridiculous and untrue premise, it was fascinating that they use Penn State as their analogy rather than more recent and more grievous examples at Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State.

And these stooges are going to be involved in hiring our next football coach.
