Agreed to, formal approval coming in the next week or so. There were 170 shoot-outs this past regular season.....should be well less than 100 next year!

I like it. I don't mind shootouts, but an extra OT and it being 3 on 3 will be very exciting to watch. This is really going to benefit teams like Tampa Bay and NYR with the speed that they have. I can't wait to see what surprises free agency brings next week.
Unless they are playing the Penguins, in which case they won't need OT to win.The Philadelphia Flyers will still put out 3 goons on the ice!
JK Tom!!!

I think OT's should be played in 5 minute intervals with diminishing number of players based on the successive OT's.
1st OT: 5 vs 5
2nd OT: 4 vs 4
3rd OT: 3 vs 3
4th OT: 2 vs 2
5th OT: 1 vs 1. That's right, the goalies play one on one vs each other.
It's "seriously", but I have come to expect really poor grammar from you and your McKees kin. On the advice of others, I will be placing you on "ignore" tomorrow morning. And that, is why nobody takes you serious on this board
Your status as 'Clown-Prince' of this board is still secure Pool Boy!
