A view from the other side, breaking down our defensive performance against Northwestern.
Main takeaway: our defensive tackles are manbeasts, our ends are great at rushing the passer but are susceptible to the run game, and the back 7 (not including bell) aren't terribly intimidating...Cabinda and Reeder in particular didn't have very good games. It's impossible to run up the middle on us because of Zettel and AJ, but if you get the edge there's a lot of space to be had.
I think it's pretty fair based on what I've seen this year. Here's hoping the young guys can take a step up this week.
