Nickal's high step out of Dean's high-crotch shot

... I think Bo was super sharp the rest of the match ...
I agree, except that Bo was not sharp after he narrowly averted disaster near the out of bounds line. In particular, after he avoided being taken down to his back off of that whizzer, he ended up out of bounds--and he stopped wrestling/reacting, when he should have been doing another one of those Superman sprawls to square up to Dean and to take his legs away from Dean! Dean jumped on the non-reactive Bo and almost managed to take Bo down while staying inbounds, but he went out of bounds. Phew!

Bo had his head on the wrong side of Dean's leg in which Dean to advantage with his wizzer. But you're right, if he did indeed stop, then that was almost a disaster. I think he liked the position and thought he could stay in it for awhile - kill clock

Just a general comment about the "positions our guys get in".

Almost to the wrestler, they have stated publicly that there's not a position that they'll see in competition that they've not experienced in the wrestling room. Given the level of practice talent they face almost daily, it makes perfect sense, and is part of the "steel-sharpening-steel" analogy.

Watch them, there's just no panic, not an ounce, in our wrestlers...then think about them as 18-22 year olds. Anyone that's a parent, and has adult children, should marvel at this.

Man, what the hell is that? Ran it over and over and still can't figure out how he did it.

Good point. I recall the backup, getting the call from Cael for his senior year vs Northwestern, and he pins the kid, then says he knew the move because Retherford pinned him with the exact same move, five consecutive times in practice.

The wrestler in question is Caleb Livingston, among my favorite wrestlers on the team.

For those that attended the Awards Banquet, he gave a great speech.
