Tough first round draw for Nico, though Nashon has not lived up to my expectations--curious to see how both do at 61:

You can see the matches at the following live streams:
Mat A
Mat B
Mat C
Mat D

If you want to see Nico's match vs Garrett it was on Mat B and you can rewind about 2 hours from now. Both guys' heads had to be wrapped after a collision toward end of first.

Nico still alive, gets pulled back in if Garrett wins one more.

Dieringer looks really good at 79kg, wins 4-0 over Japan on Mat D in his semi.

Lefever will face J'den Cox in semis, right now on Mat D.

Lefever hung in there, only giving up 2 pushout points to lose 2-0. Great job fending off Cox's offense, but didn't have much of his own. Against Cox that's understandable though.

Dieringer's match just took place about 15 minutes ago so you can still see it if you rewind on Mat C stream here.

#7 Sharif Sharifov (AZE) just beat #4 J'den Cox in a back and forth match, 8-7. Cox was up 6-2 and appears to have gassed. Sharifov pushed Cox around quite a bit. Wonder if that doesn't send Cox back down. 92kg = 202lbs, about 12lbs above where he won bronze.

You can see match if you rewind a bit on Mat B stream here.

Dropping more weight and a gassing issue - not a perfect pair.

Well here he moved up a weight, but closer to his walk-around weight and only 5 lbs more than he wrestled in college. But I don't recall him being pushed around like that at 86kg.

Recall when DT moved up to 86kg from 74kg he gassed a lot (e.g., at Midlands) until he adjusted.
