https://www.centredaily.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/article230747484.html for my letter to the CDT on Josh Shapiro's decision to appeal the Federal court ruling that vacated Spanier's conviction. We need to ensure this individual is not reelected in 2020.

Here is Shapiro's tweet about the Catholic Church--not just abusive priests and their enablers, but "their" and "them." twitter.com/PAAttorneyGen/status/1121853201563750403

"The Church dismissed our Grand Jury report as “in the past.” But their swift actions after the Notre Dame fire show us that some things “in the past” have value to them. And other things - thousands of children forever changed by abuse - don’t."

Catholic voters in this state have zero tolerance for child abuse, but also zero tolerance for the kind of anti-Catholic swill for which 19th century cartoonist Thomas Nast was (in)famous. And contrary to Shapiro's "And other things - thousands of children forever changed by abuse - don’t," the Pope has implemented numerous actions to crack down on priests who abuse their positions to harm children.
