A few points about the bill the Fake News seems to gloss over...
- States control the election process. Unless HR1 becomes law that's how it will be.
- It's insulting to think black Americans can't get an ID. I've lived here since 1986 and you've always needed: 1) voter registration card and 2) ID to vote.
- This bill reapportions polling stations to where the most voters are in a handful of Texas' most urban counties. Makes sense, yes?
- The only place I know of that had drive-thru voting was Harris County (Houston), and it was a 'one off' because of the pandemic. I guess democrats want COVID-19 to stick around for awhile.
