Nolf counter TD

The way Nolf uses opponents' weight and momentum against them from unbalanced starting positions reminds me of Jackie Chan in Drunken Master II. Don't really have a wrestling comparison I can come up with. Also impressive is that he ended the match that way, in the finals of a tournament, at a point where I imagine most are too exhausted to be that creative.

Second best move by a Penn State wrestler in the Cael Sanderson era, after Quentin Wright's overhead standing cradle.
I need to go back and find the quarter or semi final match where he stuck his opponent on his back with his legs - his choice but didn't get points.

WOW NOW THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME AND I HAVE WATCHED WRESTLING 40 YEARS...NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE IT....THAT SHOULD GO ALL OVER THE COUNTRY...SICK !

You saw DT do something very similar.

Also we should remember that video bo posted 2 summers ago with them on the river on the rope swing. These guys have body control like gymnasts and resilience to fear like few have.

I almost pooped a cruise liner when he got head locked in the, I believe, first round. Sorry I missed you guys at the Palestra.

That was a dual meet at Pitt. Not sure if Q even was trying to do that, he just ended up in a position where he could lock the kids (name escapes me but it was the same kid he lost to at the All Star dual that same season) head and decked him. it was another of those WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT moments for those watching.

Wilps?

Seeing it live was spectacular. This 2-point move marked the end of a tech fall in the finals at 157. No emotion from Jason, just another day in the office...but the fan reaction (including yours, Tom), was one of awe.

Was the most incredible move I saw at the Keystone Classic. Roar's memory is likely better than mine of what I did, as he was seated directly behind me, but I believe I ended up jumping out of my seat, and sharing a collective sense of amazement with those that were around me.

Yeah, your name/handle got brought up a couple of times during the day, as we thought you would be at the Classic. You were missed.

I was there but had a wee bit of a hangover from watching the Rutgers game at a sports bar near our hotel. It was a looooooonnnngggggg day and ride home!!

I was there. From what I remember, Q pinned Wilps by figure-4'ing his head, or something similar to that.

Q! Yeah, I also recall him getting someone in a "banana split" although on "themat" there was some debate whether it was a true banana split or some other nickname from Pennsylvania wrestling I can't recall.
