Not hating but did Farmer make a play tonight?**

he was in most every play - he made a couple tackles, but otherwise not impactful.
think you mean Bowen. Bowman IS a player at the next level
Because the USC OL is very, very good. They only gave up 10 sacks all year.
Also the USC QB was very good at eluding the rush. I'd like to know how many of those 10 sacks happened in the first 4 games.
I bet USC fans are wondering why the hell that kid wasn't starting from the beginning.
My friend has watched both teams all year and told me it was highly unlikely we'd get to Darnold due to his experienced OL, size, release, scrambling ability.
That said, I thought we had quite a bit of pressure on the kid and we hit him often enough. But we missed many chances to finish and he made some stupid incredible plays that 99.99% of QB's in CFB simply can't make (those jump passes that most times backfire or go for IG). Still, we bottled up the run -- not easy when their passing game is working and needs attention.
Early in the game we had nothing working to stop him.. but by the 2nd qtr i saw that changing. I'll eventually have the courage to watch the game again and see if was watching with my blue/white glasses.
I do think if Bowen and Bell play full games, we win this. But that didn't happen.. so i'm retreating to my safe place room to brood and dry my tears... and asked my boss for a few days off to recover (ahem). He said he could only give me 1 but he'd set up a separate safe haven where we could gather and sing kum-bay-ah. He's a good guy!
