OK. But if you're still interested in Penn State forums with the spirit of this one, take a look at my demo site I'm calling Happy Valley Free-For-All. It uses the same forum software as this site. If I get some interest I'll go forward. The last one out, turn off the lights.

so, how do we get to it?OK. But if you're still interested in Penn State forums with the spirit of this one, take a look at my demo site I'm calling Happy Valley Free-For-All. It uses the same forum software as this site. If I get some interest I'll go forward.
Follow the link: Happy Valley Free-For-All or enter http://happyvalleyfreeforall.com (no hyphens in the url, though Free-for-all is the grammatically correct way to spell it). It will redirect to my 7-day Xenforo site. You can register and post just like here, but if I go forward I will either pay Xenforo to host on their servers (hoping $60/month plan works - goes up to $250/month). Or pay around $300 for the software and add-ons and host it elsewhere. I can't guarantee that anything posted on the demo site will make it to the real site.so, how do we get to it?
For what it's worth, I'll give it a shot.Follow the link: Happy Valley Free-For-All or enter http://happyvalleyfreeforall.com (no hyphens in the url, though Free-for-all is the grammatically correct way to spell it). It also wants an e-mail confirmation and you may not get the e-mails right now. I probably have to manually validate those accounts for the time being. I did that for about 8 this morning.Probably browser permissions. I don't have an SSL cert yet, so it's redirecting from http to https and some browsers don't like that. Try this: direct link

I checked it out. Good idea but doesn't have any activity yet. At any rate, an A for effort! Maybe that changes when this site goes dark?
I agree that On3 totally sucks for conversations. It's like they believe all threads must be started by their overlord and consolidated so that you cannot follow anything. Nothing is to progress organically, it all must be controlled.
And 247, well, I've considered that but I'm not sold on them either. I like their reporting and their rankings are better IMO. But the threads are not as interesting. Maybe that is just the offseason.
Been members of both left 247 premium for ON3 premium then the gatekeepers and overlords followed their god to ON3 and now it's much like 247 was. As much as things seem to change, they remain the same. As for their (on3) podcasts they're as much about blabber as they are real content. Hopefully there is going to be an answer for those of us looking for a place to go.I checked it out. Good idea but doesn't have any activity yet. At any rate, an A for effort!
