Nope, I love Spencer, but if he really wanted to cement his place in NCAA history he would go up to 133 and face RBY for his fourth title!
If Spencer wins his fourth nobody is going diminish his greatness. If he did go to 133 and beat RBY for his fourth, he ain't supplanting Cael or Dake in the GOAT hierarchy. If he goes 133 there is a decent shot he ends up a 3 time champ.
A big risk for so little to gain.

I would think that Kyle Dake would be young enough by now to wrestle in this.
Pretty soon he will be able to win 4 titles at 4 different weights in descending order instead of ascending order. That will make him even more special.
Unfortunately (for DT) he HAS wrestled in this, he should be young enough for Cadets by NOW.

my guess is that it is not a question of if he is ready Nov 22 but more do they want to test out new acl’s at a meaningless all star event on Nov 22, with a long season ahead.

I think I’m with you. Those guys are both very inventive. It they go strictly by weight, that match coming right after a Will Lewan special will likely cause some of the audience to go into shock due to the jarring disconnect
