Again, who do you expect them to get? FA pool is weak, Drafting a QB over the last 2 years haven't been good.

The only one would have been to draft Derek Carr over Clwoney.

Wouldn't surprise me if this comes to pass. BOB had a lot of respect for Hack and will know him better than any other coach who will be drafting players next spring.

Carr did too and he has looked alot better then Bortles.

It was known BOB wanted Bortles. Unfortuantely they could get no takers to move down a couple of spots and have someone else draft Clowney. At that point, they had no choice but to draft Clowney with the #1 Overall pick. Picking anyone but Clowney would have be roundly criticized by anyone and everyone. He was the undisputed pick of the draft. BOB was then hoping to trade up some to get Bortles, but NO ONE had any idea the Jags were going to pick him.

Carr to the Texans was a complete non starter. No matter how good, another Carr in Texas would have been the kiss of death. They were not going to pick him. The real hindsight might have been to have grabbed Bridgewater.

FWIW, Tebow is out there and you can have him for the league min. I will never understand what happened with that guy. It must be a locker room/off the field thing.

Tebow is one of those guys you just can't understand. When you watch him he shows little to no signs that he can play, but when in games he seems to have an inate ability to somehow get the job done.
