OF Coordinator

Yes its the OF Coordinator that needs to go right now -but Franklin does and should get blame( and I was behind him-) but its the same as last year. How many really bad games do you let someone have without complaining. I think we are in trouble for 2015.
The OF was horrible and Hack was just pathetic. He still is scared and holds the ball. Doesnt get team into a rhythm. But the OF play calling the worst I have ever seen.
Want to see how bad we were- watch the recruits decommitt.

Very very sad. Most prognosticators said that if the OL didn't protect Hack it's '14 all over again. Well, we got our answer. No adjustment?!?!

I'm not sure there is a magic answer but you've got to try something. No huddle high tempo, roll out to buy some time, etc. Perhaps McSorely for a change of pace. Continuing to take a beating running the same plays over and over is a losing strategy. Even the announcers were amazed by PSU's refusal to make adjustments on offense. I'm not sure I ever heard announcers so critical of a coaching staff.

I believe the good coaches make their playbook around the players they have. If your system benches a top 10 draft pick in order to work then that's just asinine.

But the two cannot work together, so we are gong to be forced to try roll outs and read option plays. It's a disaster. Never saw anything like it in my life.

Donovan needs replaced and that's on Franklin, who I support for now. He has to see what everyone else see's. Yes the OL line is bad, but the play calling and schemes make the OL even perform worse. Why even play hack in this offense? Put a running QB in there and let him do some option and misdirection..

A fullback would be nice and help solve a ton of issues. 3 wides, a TE who is an avg blocker and no threat of ever throwing down field, so teams are all up in the box. At least have a FB who can pick up blitzes or knock a LB on their rear on a running play. You think Zettel can play both ways?

John Donovan demonstrated how terrible he was last season but after tonight I hope they get rid of this loser before the sun rises. What an absolute embarrassment.

I gotta say I gave Donovan and Franklin the benefit of the doubt last year. But I was wrong. This offense is going to be 2014 all over again. It's mind boggling how bad the offense is- Donovan needs to be fired after one of the worst offensive performances I've seen from a PSU team.

That's what's so frustrating...we all saw the writing on the wall for this year. Franklin could've hired a new offensive coordinator to work around Hackenberg's pro-style skill set for this year and chose to be loyal to Donovan.

Another 11 games of this....I can't deal with it. Will need an extra case of beer at the tailgate next week.
