If he is better than Palmer, we will be fine. Palmer was coming on his last year until he was hurt

Yea everything we are seeing seems to say that he is far more advanced than Palmer. I believe even @Ryan Snyder/BWI Staff has said he's better.
Palmer was very tall in the 6'7" range but never seemed to be very big. Only weight I could find was 278. So thats already a pretty big difference and plus for Whigan.
But I still am "cautious" of JUCO OL kids.

Losing Nana really had an impact.
I wonder if Menet would even be considered as an option for OT ? I know it is not his ideal position, but it wasn’t for Bates, either.

Menet has the foot speed for OT so that is a start. tough position to learn quickly but athletic skill is foundation.
