grass field, a southern team that has not played North of the Mason Dixon line, sub 20 degrees temps with wind chill, a whiteout, and a 9 to 10 point spread.

I don't think PSU has played in 25 degree snowy weather either. At least they can go out and practice in it. I assume SMU will arrive early and practice on a PA high school field.

Easiest solution: buy a pack of 3x hanes tshirts and wear it over your warm clothes. Because layers! Bring the extras for your seat neighbors who may not think of it.
In reality, the school should be handing them out for everyone who walks in. No different than the pom poms they have provided before.

On the one hand, weather like that tends to be an equalizing factor. On the other hand, it puts a premium on defense and the running game, and we have an advantage in both departments. Not to mention that for SMU in that weather and that stadium, it will be like stepping foot on Mars. Totally alien environment.
But to all the intrepid fans who brave those elements to cheer on our boys in person, I'm speechless in admiration. I'm too old and too cold for that shit but I want you to know that as my body sits in a warm living room sipping a hot toddy (or two) in front of a television set tuned to TNT, my spirit will be with y'all there on the frozen tundra of Happy Valley.
Mr Jennings is a good scrambler so make sure to GET LINED THE HELL UP and keep him hemmed in. I also have noticed he loves to play fast and loose with that football in one hand on scrambles... that's ok, but it might be a bit more difficult when that football is like a frozen rock.
So I went to the Maryland game and it was frigid but had a good clothing plan. Going with long Johns n ski pants and 2 winter coats. For the whiteout I have a 2XL white PSU jersey over top.
