Hey all, gotta admit, not feeling it this week, not at all. In my mind, the only question is "how badly will we get beat?". Admittedly, I tend to forget bad losses so this next statement is likely out of context a bit... that loss to Illinois was the worst loss I can remember and there are no excuses for it. Sure, Clifford is clearly not at 100% but c'mon, really? Enough about last week, we can't change it so it is time to try to move on,and what an awful opponent to have to move on to.
For the first time since I've been doing this, I'm picking our opponent, 45-17 and, frankly, I'm probably being generous in predicting that we'll score 17. I'm hoping I'm a DumbAss this week but I'm fairly confident I won't be, just being "realistic". Any of you out there that can talk me off the ledge here? I'm still not recovered from last week, what a lost season, damnit.
Here's hoping we at least play respectable football this upcoming Saturday evening.
