Offseason Offtopic Question: Buying HVAC filters online

I'm tired of spending $$ on Filtrete filters so I'm interested in purchasing a dozen air filters (MERV 8 - 11) online, but I found about 50 different websites that sell filters.

Pricing is fairly consistent across the websites I checked, but there are numerous horror stories about certain vendors sending you incorrect or damaged filters and having them arrive much later than expected.

Can anybody recommend a reliable website for purchasing HVAC filters online? I'm primarily interested in good customer service (i.e. vendor consistently shipping filters that arrive in good condition and in a timely manner).

I got Nordic pure off amazon. MERV 13, 2" deep at 24"*30" at a good deal. Ordered 6 at one time.

I'm a filter fan (change 'em religiously... allergies and all). Biggest concern is the MERV number... just make sure ur unit handles 11... my guys made it clear 8 was safest for the unit.

that aside i'm using accumulair merv8 through www.yourfilterconnection.com -- 6 years without a hitch. buying several certainly saves on my shipping costs. Check them out and see how their numbers compare.
