Can you think of ANYONE in America who deserves National Coach of the Year more than Franklin? Last week I said that Franklin deserves that award and that IMO there is no one else even CLOSE. Some guys nominated Harbaugh and I grudgingly conceded that MAYBE he might merit it as much as Franklin. But Harbaugh just lost a game to Iowa...remember Iowa? They were the team PSU/Franklin effortlessly manhandled a week ago, and did it with the second youngest team in America. Meanwhile Harbaugh shat the bed by NOT being able to handle them, in spite of Michigan's collection of experienced 4 & 5 star recruits.
Look at what Franklin has faced, how far the young kids have come, how DOMINANT they are right now, and look at WHO orchestrated it all. WHO brought in Moorhead? WHO recruited these kids? WHO sets the tone every week? WHO kept Pry and appointed him DCoord?
Again I'll state that Franklin SHOULD be National Coach of the Year, and it shouldn't even be a contest. Who else could POSSIBLY deserve it more? (By the way, this all assumes that he isn't fired at the end of the season because we all KNOWWWWWWW that he is "on the hotseat". After all, sports talk media and the press told us so.)
