Forgive me, but I think it's time to take Coach Franklin's tenure at Penn State seriously. A lot of the older players brought in by Joepa and O'Brien, some of whom lost starting positions or playing time because of younger and more athletic players Franklin brought in, are gone. A QB who would have functioned best behind a rock-solid offensive line--I won't say anything more than that--has moved on to the NFL draft, and everybody wishes all of them well. This is now Franklin's team, with a coaching staff that might be a better fit for Penn State's evolving roster situation and conference challenges than the group that he brought from Vanderbilt. And I look forward to some stability and on the field improvement. Lets see what Franklin can do with his team.
