Oklahoma gets beat in OT by URI.

I don't understand how a 10 seed taking a 7 seed to OT and losing indicates in any manner that they didn't deserve to be in. Glad they lost but, if anything, that performance proved the committee right

Now, if they had gotten blown out then I'd agree.

Because they lost 12 out of their last 18. That is not tourney worthy.

I don’t get why it’s so hard for you to comprehend that.

Oklahoma St, St Mary’s, and USC would have been better.

Winning or losing one game doesn't prove anything. You're supposed to prove you belong before the tournament.. Syracuse won the other night. That doesn't mean they should've been in. 8-10 in conference with two of their wins over Pitt. Wish Middle Tennessee or Western Kentucky would've gotten in over Cuse

Listening to an Sirius station that I cannot recall, the argument by them was OK did not deserve to be in the field, but it's all about money and they will want a kid of this caliber to be in the dance.
Have to say I can't disagree.

I don’t doubt that was the reason but it goes against what they tell us they use to pick teams. ;)

Honestly, watching him live- I don’t know what the hype was about. Maybe he had a bad game but the URI defense held him in check with the exception of a few layups late when the game was over.

I have no problem with this response but no one can claim that OU losing in OT to URI proves they didn't belong...if anything it reinforces the decision to include them. Just like I don't believe Syracuse should have been in but them beating ASU makes the committee feel better about that decision. MTSU is the team I thought got screwed by the inclusion of Syracuse. I understand why people don't like OU and don't think they should have been in but they're also ignoring what the committee has said for over a decade. Last 10-12-20-etc doesn't matter. It's the entire resume
