Olu Announcement...

Wow that is so unusual. That is a lot of money to leave on the table. But the money will be there next year.
Back in the day, the players used to take out a million dollar (needs to be higher these days) insurance policy in the event of football injury. Pretty sure that POZ or Lee did that to come back for another year. ---Heck, if they're smart, they'll work it into the NIL.....just a thought.

Rumors have been out there for some time. Partly because CJF kept saying he was hoping to get him back.....and the season was winding down. But, his parents place a premium on education and that was seen as a factor. But despite this, I am really pleasantly surprised.

I kept saying it...and kept saying it...and the whole "errbody go pro" crowd kept yapping back.

Who is laughing now? As I said, not too many 19 year old left tackles in the NFL.

It would be nice if Strange returns but we have 2 other proven TEs.

Jacobs and Washington are my biggest concerns.
Parker isn't on any mock drafts higher than day 3, and the injury isn't raising that up. He should come back. So should Curtis.

Literally already said great news for us
Lol. I love how you continue to out yourself using "we" and "us". I can't think of a single other poster on here who even uses these terms while you put them in about 50 percent of yours LOLOLOLOLOL

So who paid for those ‘back in the day’? Couldn’t be cheap. Now with NIL deals a top athlete can pay for it himself.

If a third party pays the tab does it have to declared as NIL?

Four people said it in this thread alone

Hopefully, the offensive line won't be a matter of concern moving forward. Allowing Allar time to sit in the pocket will be such a major upgrade next year.

Behave yourself, Miles. Just so you're up to speed, LJ coaches the DL. Olu is an OL.
I think that was the point. Can’t get a kid to go that he doesn’t want to compete against him like he did on the way out here.

I agree. LB group will be excellent if Jacobs comes back, and WR seems like the weakest unit for 2023 given how necessary WR playmakers are to winning again the best teams.

But with a 22+ player incoming class plus a few portal players likely coming, a good many players will be moving on.
