He will. He is a redshirt junior.
I think Miller is absolutely playing at an all-conference level right now. He was an all-conference player last year, too.based on his play this year, he is a late round draft pick at best. And no shot to get a combine invite or make a roster. So not so sure why everybody says he will be leaving based on the current year play. if he was lighting it up and playing at a all Big Ten type level and playing his way into a 2nd/3rd round pick, then makes sense. But just look back at Sickels and Evans of guys who left early and never made it. With the stipend guys get in college now-a-days,not sure why they would leave early.

High draft picks for edge rushers in today’s NFL are based so much more on your measurables and athleticism than your college stat sheet, whether you exhaust your eligibility or not. And college cost of living stipends don’t feed your family at home.

If his performance this year is similar to last year, why would he stay another year? Probably sees himself as plateaued in college play. Maybe he gets better as a pro, and gets paid too.
As for for some of the other losses on defense, they've made some plays, but missed far too many relative to their class standing and experience.
Bottom line, I think the defense gets much better next year. Call it addition by subtraction, or just more experience for others. I especially look forward to a linebacking core of Parsons, Luketa, and Brooks. They will be remembered along side many of our great LB teams.
Wish he could stay another year
