On Memorial Day remember those that gave their lives

Have close friends that lost their only son to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. They just returned from attending a service in Alaska where their son's Rangers outfit is headquartered. I believe their 7th such event attended there. My friend said he's not sure his wife can get through another one, although he is impressed by the respect and politeness the current soldiers exhibit along with all the work they put in to put on the events of the 3 days they are there.

All the cryers in this country should be required to spend 4 years in the Rangers or Marines. It might make them appreciate the costs of freedom......
