I am done with complaining about it after this. I know some of you will be happy to hear.

I don't know why the complaints upset so many of you youngsters. It is obvious it is what it is and, even in the off chance that everybody complained, this is what Rivals is going with.

But, do not expect me to believe that, in 2015, it is not possible for them to retain a thread view option if they wanted to. They don't want to. They don't care about people that preferred that option.

So, I don't care about them.

Fight On, State.

Why does change upset some? (I won't generalize an age category) Change is rarely easy, but it is necessary. Would you expect that Rivals would be running the same format in 100 years just to avoid a few growing pains?

The change in format doesn't upset me, it's just that I really, really enjoyed thread view. How would you like it if you woke up one morning to the phone ringing and it's the doctor who says, "Jim, absolutely no more sex for you, otherwise your dick will fall off." You wouldn't be dancing a jig, would you?

Bad example, as I'd be real upset in that situation (beyond upset, actually, probably) but you can get the gist of my argument.

I don't love the changes, but I'll live. It's not like I pay for rivals service or anything, so it's not a big deal to me. While I did prefer thread view here, I have frequented plenty of topic view boards over time and usually I don't mind that view at all. But there is something about the new format here that is just... off. I can't quite put my finger on it yet, but I suspect I'll get used to it over time and it won't be a big deal. I'm generally quite adaptable when it comes to technology changes. :)

I will admit that this will help tremendously with browsing from mobile, which I basically didn't do with thread view. Now I expect to read from my phone a lot more frequently.

Day 2 and people are realizing life will go on. Just imagine life one month from now. :p I

Hey, if the country finished turning into a socialist one, life would also go on. Doesn't mean that that's the best(or preferred) choice.

That depends. My name's not Jim, so I would most definitely take the time to celebrate the unintentional comedy of that call in some fashion.

Perhaps with a nice jig. ;)
