One critical play was missing in Saturday's loss to NW. It could have made the difference.

Initially, I was listening to the game in the car and Jack Ham kept saying how well the NW cornerbacks were breaking on the ball. When I watched the game, I saw the same thing, and it eventually led to Hack's first interception in seven games. So my question is, if the cornerbacks are driving on the ball and are close enough to break up the pass, why do we not have Hack pump faking and throwing the ball over their heads to an open receiver, because the corners have bitten on the pump fakes? Once you do that, they either back off, opening up the shorter routes again, or you pump fake and go over their heads again.
