How to mix in downfield passing to the PSU offense?

Have no problem with the way Allar has been used so far, and he's been everything we hoped for so far. He's got the tools -- arm strength, poise, size, accuracy, and calmness under pressure -- to be a college all-star and a very high NFL draft choice.

Really hoping to see a more active downfield passing game -- would help the offense in so many ways -- chunk gains, more chances for the Running Backs to get some breakaway runs, ability to score quickly if the game dictates, etc, etc.

Interested in next steps..
Utilize more play action fakes with one or two long routes? Wheel routes to Singleton? Longer routes for the Tight Ends?

Go back to WVU game. A lot of what you mention was used in that game. It's been shelved since. I expect we bring it out when we need it.
