I have a pass for lot 33. We are coming in from Williamsport. What time do you recommend getting to the lot? Is noon too late? Thanks a bunch

The lots open at 8:00. To me noon isn't too late but it depends on what you have planned for the day. If you get there at noon you should be able to drive into the lot with no problems.

Thanks. Was just wondering how bad traffic would be at that time. I’m sure it’s gonna be a zoo

Game day is in town so lots of folks want to park early to go to it. The ”planned entry routes” do not go into effect until 4 hrs before kickoff. Expect lots of traffic anyway. Lot 33 is the lot with the infamous State Police helicopter buzzing it and destroying student tailgates.

Damn…..

The good thing about night games is that getting into the lots is much easier since cars are arriving all throughout the day and it balances out the flow…The awful part is the exiting.
Well not in my experience, but I'm not a season ticket holder that goes to every game. OP, if I were you I'd be ready for long delays. I travelling in for the OSU whiteout game in 2018 and we wanted to arrive at the lots early, apparently along with everyone else. Coming from the southwest, we went from College to N. Atherton to Park Ave. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I think we were in traffic for well over 2 hours in order to park and this was first thing in the morning right when the lots opened. At one point it took an hour to move less than 0.1 miles.

Exiting was equally bad, but we expected that part.

Please don’t sugarcoat it! J/K, it’s gonna be a loooong day for the 9 yr old, and his daddy.

You shouldn't have an issue with lot 33 coming from Williamsport. Just follow the instructions on your ticket and go straight to the lot.

Don't try to take a ride through town and on campus to check things out. Only do that on foot during game day. Bring comfortable shoes if you're gonna make that trek.
