We have defeated three unbeaten opponents in a row with last night's emotional victory that will be long remembered. But one more streak needs to end - we have lost the last 5 road games including the bowl game. Hopefully the team and coaches stick to the mantra that we are 0-0 for the upcoming game. If,as some have said here on the boards, that it is "only Purdue without a head coach," we are perhaps in trouble. Purdue gave an undefeated Nebraska team a fairly good game in Lincoln. I would hate to see all the hard work and the real improvements go down the drain next week in a letdown. I'm sure the coaches are aware of this and will do everything they can do to work for another victory. After all, we all loved last night's victory, but in the standings a loss next week will diminish that victory somewhat.
