A re-energized bunch of tail-gaters in the various parking lots. Radiating a certain "buzz." ( not just THAT kind...)
When a team is going really well, has high expectations, is coming off or going into great seasons, it seemed like everyone was more energized, pumped, excited,....... from 9 am on til game-time...... and then afterwards. Nobody was in a hurry to leave....the stadium, or the parking lots. You just wanted to talk about the game, the big plays, the team. Who played well. Who surprised. The coaching. That "buzz" just cant be reproduced when a team is struggling.
Yes, there is excitement during the game, but afterwards, when things go well the fans are truly pumped for hours and days after the game, and leading up to the next one. Pregame tailgating is all about past success, the next opponent, and how things will turn out on the field.
My guess is 2017 will bring back that very special energy. The "buzz' is back!
