IMO, staff made a big mistake keeping Toney at DE. Should have been a LB from the start. Right now, #13 are the only two LB's that punish the runner. Problem is they are too young. I think 36, 11 and 9 should the starters. Leave them in the game to get experience. All this subbing is preventing reps.

We’re an overall young team with veterans at the most important positions (QB, OL).

9 and 36 are both in their senior years (not sure if they have a 5th year). 9 looks to be a decent tackler - not great. 41 who is way back on the depth chart looks like a very solid hitter and fast. this is why Bowen would have really helped us this year.

based on spring, I thought that Luketa would have pushed to start, but he has not emerged. watching the top teams, you can see how some of their true FR LBs start to really emerge in a few games. Dylan Moses at BAMA last year was a monster FR MLB. we still do not have that kind of talent on the team - maybe Parsons will get there. we also do not have monsters in the middle on DL, so LBs frequently are taking on a couple OL.

Scott needs to be on the sideline. It's hard for Franklin because he declared Scott a captain and leader, but he's a liability on the field. 26 is better right now, so is 38. The other problem is 7, he's the other liability. Unfortunately it's going to take 2 losses for Franklin to pull them.
