Open Tournaments Question...

I heard on one of the podcasts that they can but would have to wrestle unattached. Might work for those redshirting but when FRL had the compliance officer from Okie St. he said that if a wrestler is on a trip with the team they cannot post anything in regards to sponsors as they are in their representative of the school/team capacity.
RS will be yes. Also they could wear singlets with sponsors on them as well.
All they have to do with NIL is tweet "I like R Gilligan Auctions" and their expenses are covered.
Ok but let's have them wear M2 singles.

I wasn't interested in sponsoring anybody individually, but I would love to see a guy wrestling on Flo in a Spyker singlet. :0) I could see local businesses or perhaps the Penn State Wrestling Club doing something for the walk-ons though. Any of the clothing stores that sell PSU Wrestling merch or maybe even restaurants could reach visitors with customized singlets. I worked with a guy that had a kid wrestling @ PSU and he said that travel and entry fee made it difficult for many of the kids to get to Open competition.
I would have a Nascar style singlet in an unattached year. 50$ a spot and I will tweet good things. 🙂
