Sunday's local paper had a nice long article on UM's three-headed QB situation.
UMs comments included:
1. He's DEEPLY indebted to Braxton Miller, and his family, for what he's done for the university, keeping its head above water during UMs 1st year.
2. He's deeply indebted to JT Barrett for what HE did when BM went down.
3. He's deeply indebted to Cardale Jones for what he did to finish the job and take them to the national championship.
He'd "love" to have all three on the field at the same time, but "there are other talented players, too."
Miller is a two-time BT MVP. He's also reportedly 100% after his shoulder surgery, and will soon be throwing the ball at full speed. His conditioning is the best its ever been, with body fat down from 11% to 5%! Lean and mean. And Miller has already graduated, so he can devote full time to his training and learning the playbook better. In summary, he is the best focused he's ever been. And in a very positive frame of mind.
This will likely be the major storyline in the national media going into the season. All three are smiling and giving off positive vibes and praising teamwork and tremendous competition.
It seems UM is in no hurry to pick one of them, and will likely be creative this fall in their use.
Of course, JT's injury, and BM's injury may still be a factor, despite claims that both are 100%.
And UMs obligations, while many, begin with his obligation to OSU to turn out the best team possible. Whatever that entails.......
