They are not getting rid of Urban Meyer period. Who doesn’t understand this?

My guess. People who are naïve enough to believe in core values...

I don't know about you but if this was posted in the locker room of my school then I would be worried about the character of the young men we're recruiting. It's almost an admission of guilt.

Thank you. I'll see my way out.

I thought the same thing as you when I saw this sign on the Today Show. "Work Hard", "Play Like a Champion", and whatever other motivational slogans they throw out there nowadays....those signs belong on the walls of a locker room and/or weight room. But to have to put THIS sign up on the wall, it's almost like they're trying to reverse behavior that has been normal for these kids in the past. It's pretty damn shameful to have to reiterate to kids to not steal and to not disrespect women.

Don’t forget - No Weapons. I don’t know about you, but when i was a kid I didn’t walk around with weapons on me. No one had to remind me to not take weapons into a building.

Urban will be suspended the first four games, then be back for the trip to Happy Valley. If OSU wins, it proves how good of a coach Urban is, but if they lose, it’s because of the inconsistency of not having UM from the start of the year.

Speaking of 'no weapons', a Florida player was found with a loaded AR-15 in his backseat during a traffic stop a couple weeks ago. But apparently, he was registered for the weapon and it didn't violate the 'open carry' law here. When asked why he had that type of gun, he said he needed it because the locals "be coming for me". Should have heard Coach Mullen (a Meyer disciple) talk himself into a knot about his 'no weapons' policy. And yet, we're the ones with the culture problem.

Agree Cosmos. My first thought seeing this was what has happened to our society that we need this crap?

Actually when I was a kid pocket knives were quite common. Of course we thought of them as tools , not weapons.

Back then pocket knives were tools.

Today, sticking out your index finger with a raised thumb is a weapon

Not if they have any choice in the matter. Seems their biggest issue is whether they can get away with it.

So they’re trying to get their arms around the bad facts yet to become public, reviewing options for how to explain them away and ultimately determining whether there will be too much public backlash if/when they don’t fire him.

CUM said he never heard anything about this. Then he said he reported this as required. We’ll see where the story goes from here. But tOSU isn’t going to give him up easily.

So, when we rallied around Paterno we were supporting raping children...stop saying stupid things.
No, but when psu fans tried to point out that Paterno did the “right thing” by reporting to his boss, that wasn’t good enough. Psu fans standing up for the “right thing” were excoriated as joebots and pedos. Seems only right that Ohio state fans should be consistent in their statements and actions.
Now if those standing up for Meyer stood up for due process for Paterno, then by all means go have a rally

If you remember the media said that. The students were supporting paterno but the media kept saying they were supporting child rape etc. I think he was referring to that
