OT: An Exhaustive Breakdown of "Road House"

I've read a couple of articles about Sam Elliot's performance in "A Star is Born" and and people are talking about possible Oscar nomination for him. That was a surprise. Almost makes me want to see a movie in which I have no interest.

Not to hijack the Road House theme, but I saw "Star is Born" and liked it. Bradley Cooper's character is drunk and mumbling pretty much the whole time, but Elliot was very good and so was Lady Gaga. Some funny moments, too.
